Vengeance & Sin

Listening to Vengeance & Sin is an immersive, sometimes uncomfortable experience, but one that's impossible to turn off. The narration is exceptional, with Tanner and Perrelli seamlessly switching between the protagonist's tough exterior and vulnerable interior. The pacing is relentless, mirroring the protagonist's desperate need to keep moving, to keep surviving. The story is not for the faint-hearted, with graphic depictions of violence and abuse. But it's also a story of resilience, of finding love and power in the most unexpected places. It's a long listen at 16 hours, but it's time well spent. My only critique is that the ending feels a bit rushed, given the meticulous build-up. But that's a small complaint in an otherwise outstanding audiobook.
