I was drawn into the world of 'Voidscarred' from the first moment, as the narration by Nathaniel Priestley painted vivid pictures of the cosmic battles and political intrigue. Priestley's voice is engaging and expressive, capturing the essence of each character with ease. The story itself is a thrilling ride, as Baron Myrin Stormdawn and his allies navigate the treacherous waters of interstellar politics and warfare. Brooks' intricate plot kept me guessing until the very end, while still leaving room for thoughtful reflection on the themes of loyalty and the consequences of one's actions. My only critique would be that some of the more technical aspects of space travel and ship mechanics could have been more clearly explained.
