Editor's Review ★★★★☆

AudioBook Atlas

As someone who enjoys a good mystery with a touch of adventure, I was thrilled to discover 'Wake of the Hornet' narrated by Angela Brazil. From the opening chapters, Brazil's engaging voice draws you into the story, making it hard to resist the pull of Nicolette Scott's dual passions. Her portrayal of each character, from the enigmatic archaeologist to the eccentric aviators, is so vivid that you can almost picture them in your mind's eye. The pacing of the audiobook is masterfully done, keeping you on the edge of your seat as the mystery unfolds. One critique I have is that at times, the narrative can feel a bit rushed, especially during the climactic moments. However, this minor flaw is easily overlooked, thanks to Brazil's exceptional narration and the captivating story itself.
