We Burned So Bright

I was blown away by Kirt Graves' narration. He effortlessly switches between the characters' voices, capturing their unique cadences and emotions. His performance is a testament to why audiobooks are an art form in their own right. The pacing is perfect, allowing the story's quieter moments to breathe and the more intense scenes to pack a punch. While the story can be emotionally overwhelming at times, it's a testament to Klune's writing and Graves' narration that you won't want to skip a single moment. My only critique is that the apocalyptic setting sometimes feels underdeveloped, but the strength of the characters and their relationships more than makes up for it.
