I was immediately drawn into 'Whack the Mole' by its unique premise and charming characters. Lucy's lie-detecting abilities and Paco's ghostly communications provide a constant stream of surprises, keeping the story engaging and unpredictable. Cabell's narration is a standout feature, her voice perfectly suited to the story's comedic and suspenseful moments. The pacing is spot-on, balancing humor and tension with ease. However, I found some of the secondary characters a bit one-dimensional, and I would have liked to see more development in their relationships with Lucy and Paco.
