Whiteout

I devoured Whiteout in a single, mesmerizing listen. Coleen Marlo's narration is superb, bringing nuance and depth to Angel's character that makes her both relatable and compelling. The story itself is a masterclass in tension and release, with a plot that twists and turns like a crevasse-filled landscape. One minor quibble: some of the supporting characters feel a tad underdeveloped, and a few of the action sequences could benefit from a bit more clarity. Still, these are minor complaints in an otherwise gripping narrative that will keep romance and adventure fans enthralled. The production quality is top-notch, with crisp sound design that immerses the listener in the frozen world of Antarctica.
