Wholehearted

I was drawn into 'Wholehearted' by the authentic voices of the characters, brought to life by Elizabeth Garrett's narration. She captures the vulnerability and strength of Madison, the ranch's founder, and the resilience of the teens she mentors. The pacing is steady, allowing the relationships to develop naturally, much like real life. The story is a beautiful exploration of what it means to be wholehearted, with critiques of the system and the challenges of running a non-profit feeling authentic and timely. However, I found the resolution of some plotlines a bit too neat, a small price to pay for an otherwise engaging listen.
