Widow's Island

As I found myself alone in the dark, listening to 'Widow's Island', I couldn't help but feel a shiver run down my spine. This isn't just a story about a widow returning to her isolated home; it's a tale of suspense that keeps you on the edge of your seat, wondering who to trust. Regina Reagan's narration is exceptional, her voice perfectly capturing the fear and desperation of the protagonist, Stephanie Miller. She also does an excellent job with the supporting characters, making each one distinct and memorable. The pacing is near perfect, with Larkin expertly doling out clues and red herrings, keeping you guessing until the very end. My only critique is that some of the supporting characters could have been more fully developed, but this is a minor quibble in an otherwise outstanding audiobook. If you're looking for a thriller that will keep you up at night, 'Widow's Island' is a must-listen.
