Witch of the Lake

I was thoroughly engrossed in Witch of the Lake, thanks in large part to Caitlin Davies' skilled narration. She brings a sense of urgency and passion to the story, and her performance is particularly effective in conveying the emotional depth of the characters. The pacing of the narrative is well-handled, with a good balance of fast-paced action sequences and more introspective moments. One area where the story falters slightly is in its handling of secondary characters, some of whom feel a bit underdeveloped. Additionally, the world-building can be a bit dense at times, making it hard to keep track of the various gods and mythological creatures. Overall, however, Witch of the Lake is a captivating and engaging listen that fans of epic fantasy will enjoy.
