Witch on the Cusp

I went into Witch on the Cusp expecting a thrilling mystery, but what I got was so much more. Gwendolyn Druyor's narration is a standout aspect of the audiobook - her ability to convey the complexity of Sarah Jane's emotions and the eerie atmosphere of the story is unparalleled. However, at times, the pacing feels a bit rushed, and some of the characters feel a tad one-dimensional. That being said, these minor quibbles are easily outweighed by the sheer enjoyment of the story. One of the things that really drew me into the world of Witch on the Cusp was the way the author wove together themes of family, trauma, and loyalty. The way Sarah Jane's relationships with her loved ones are constantly tested and redefined is both heartbreaking and thought-provoking. The audiobook also does a great job of creating a sense of tension and suspense, making it impossible to guess who the killer might be or what dark secrets will be revealed next. Overall, I would highly recommend Witch on the Cusp to anyone looking for a gripping and atmospheric mystery that will keep them up late into the night.
