As an X-Men fan since childhood, I was thrilled to dive back into 'The Dark Phoenix Saga' through this audiobook. Nancy Wu's narration is nothing short of exceptional. She expertly captures the essence of each character, from Cyclops' steadfast determination to Magneto's menacing gravitas. Her portrayal of Jean Grey's internal struggle as she grapples with the Phoenix's power is particularly compelling. The pacing is spot-on, building tension and suspense as the X-Men face off against the Hellfire Club and the Shi'ar Empire. My only critique is that the cosmic entities' voices could have been more distinct from one another. However, this is a minor quibble in an otherwise outstanding production. This audiobook is a must-listen for any Marvel fan looking for a thrilling, emotional journey into the heart of the X-Men universe.
