Civil War

As a lifelong Marvel fan, I was drawn to 'Civil War' for its promise of epic superhero action. What I found instead was a deeply engaging exploration of morality and the law, told through the lens of some of my favorite characters. Richard Rohan's narration is a standout feature of this audiobook. He masterfully differentiates each character, from the steadfast Captain America to the conflicted Iron Man, making it easy to follow the intricate plotlines. The pacing is excellent, building tension and suspense as the divide between the heroes grows. My only critique is that some of the political jargon can feel a bit heavy-handed at times, but it's a small price to pay for such a compelling narrative. Overall, 'Civil War' is a fresh and thought-provoking take on the superhero genre that I can't recommend enough.
