As someone who enjoys a good science fiction adventure, I was immediately drawn into the world of 1636: The Vatican Sanction. The pacing is masterful, with just the right amount of suspense and action to keep me on the edge of my seat. However, I did find some of the explanations of time-travel mechanics to be a bit convoluted at times, which occasionally pulled me out of the story.
