A Borrowed Path

I was immediately drawn into Imogen Clark's world of Fox House, where the air is thick with tension and the characters' emotions are palpable. Billie Fulford-Brown's narration is a perfect complement to Clark's writing, bringing a warmth and intimacy to the story that makes it feel like a personal conversation. As I listened, I found myself becoming increasingly invested in the lives of the women at the heart of the story – Eve, Lyra, and Skye – and their journeys towards self-discovery and healing. If I have any criticisms, it's that the pacing can feel a bit uneven at times, with some sections feeling a tad rushed in comparison to others. Additionally, some of the supporting characters feel a bit one-dimensional, which can make it difficult to fully connect with them. However, these are minor quibbles in an otherwise outstanding audiobook. Overall, A Borrowed Path is a gripping and emotional listen that will resonate with anyone who's ever struggled to navigate the complexities of family relationships.
