A Treacherous Trade

I was hooked from the first chapter, the narration drawing me into the grimy, gaslit streets of Victorian London. Sarah Mollo-Christensen's Fiona is a delight - her voice captures the character's strength, wit, and vulnerability in equal measure. John Hartley's Grayson is equally impressive, his deep, resonant voice adding gravitas to the inspector's moral struggles. The pacing is excellent, balancing tense action sequences with slower, more introspective moments. My only critique is that some of the supporting characters could have been more fully developed, but this is a minor quibble in an otherwise outstanding audiobook. 'A Treacherous Trade' is a gem that sparkles with intelligence, passion, and suspense.
