Varg isn’t just outsmarting rivals this time; he’s tangling with entities that operate on a scale where ‘human’ is barely a footnote. The shift in tone is jarring at first, but it works because Godfrey’s narration grounds it. His Varg has always been a delightful bastard, but here, there’s a new layer of exhaustion in his voice, like even *he’s* starting to question whether he’s the predator or the prey. That said, the middle act drags slightly under the weight of its own lore. Sapphire introduces a new faction with so many moving parts that even Varg’s razor-sharp internal monologue can’t always keep it straight. And while Godfrey’s performance is stellar, his female voices occasionally slip into samey territory—a minor gripe, but noticeable in a series this dialogue-heavy. Still, the finale delivers one of the most satisfying payoffs in the series, a rare moment where Varg’s ruthlessness feels *earned* rather than performative. If you’re here for the action, the last three hours are worth the price of admission alone. But if you’re in it for Varg’s warped charisma? Buckle up.
