I was immediately drawn into 'Apocalypse' by its gripping premise and high-stakes plot. Wisniewski and Plant's narration is exceptional, with Wisniewski's gruff, determined Nick contrasting beautifully with Plant's warm, resilient Sarah. The pacing is near-perfect, balancing intense action sequences with quieter, character-driven moments. Mejia's world-building is impressive, with a compelling blend of futuristic technology and post-apocalyptic grit. My only critique is that some of the supporting characters could have used more development, but this is a minor quibble in an otherwise outstanding listen.
