I devoured Apocalypse: Regression, Book 5 in a single, electrifying sitting. The dual narration is superb, with Wisniewski and Plant delivering performances that are both individually compelling and perfectly balanced. The story is a tightly wound, expertly paced thrill ride, with a narrative that's both propulsive and emotionally resonant. If I have any quibbles, it's that some of the supporting characters feel a tad underdeveloped, and a couple of the plot twists feel slightly predictable. Still, these are minor complaints in an otherwise outstanding audiobook that's sure to appeal to fans of fast-paced, apocalyptic fiction.
