Apocalypse Knights Omnibus, Books 1-3

Alex Perone's narration is the star of the show here. His gravelly, worn-out voice is the perfect fit for Maximo, capturing the character's weary, seen-it-all attitude. Perone's ability to distinguish between characters, even with the heavy accents, is commendable. The pacing is excellent, balancing action-packed sequences with slower, character-building moments. The production quality is top-notch, with no background noise or audio issues. However, some listeners might find the heavy use of profanity and violence a turn-off. Also, the world-building could be a bit more expansive, as some aspects feel underdeveloped. But overall, if you're looking for a grim, action-packed fantasy that's a bit different from the usual fare, Apocalypse Knights Omnibus is a solid choice.
