Archaic: Reverse Harem Paranormal Shifter Romance

As an editor, I adored watching Allie Shae's narration bring this story together – her tone and inflections perfectly captured the intensity of the characters' emotions, from the tender moments of blossoming romance to the heart-pumping action sequences. One of my favorite aspects of Archaic is the way Timms subverts traditional harem romance tropes, instead presenting a nuanced exploration of relationships and power dynamics. Where some might criticize the audiobook's pacing as a bit breakneck, I found it to be precisely what the story needed – propelling the listener forward into a world of secrets, lies, and forbidden love. That being said, there are moments where the supporting cast feels somewhat one-dimensional, and the resolution of the mystery could have benefited from a bit more clarity. Ultimately, however, Archaic is a thrilling, addictive listen that will keep you up late into the night, eager for more.
