The standout is the title novella, *Autumn Glory*, where Zimmerman balances the heroine’s biting sarcasm with the hero’s gruff vulnerability so well that you’ll swear you’re eavesdropping on a real ballroom spat. That said, the audiobook’s biggest strength—a fast, almost relentless pace—can also feel like a slight drawback in the second novella, *The Midnight Waltz*, where the emotional payoff arrives just a beat too quickly for my taste. Still, Zimmerman’s performance elevates what might otherwise read as standard Regency fluff into something richer, more alive. If you’re a fan of romance with depth and dialogue that sings, this is a treat. Just don’t expect to take it slow—it’s the kind of audiobook that pulls you in and doesn’t let go.
