Blind Willow Sleeping Woman

As someone who has read and enjoyed Haruki Murakami's works in print, I was excited to dive into this audiobook version of Blind Willow, Sleeping Woman. The ensemble cast of narrators brings a fresh perspective to each story, making it feel like a whole new experience. My favorite stories included the surreal "The Yonnan Bridge," with its haunting atmosphere and a powerful performance by the narrator, and "A Slow Boat to China," which kept me engaged with its unexpected twists and turns. The pacing of the audiobook is excellent, allowing for moments of suspense and quiet reflection. While the production quality is generally high, I did find some background noises in a couple of stories distracting. Overall, this audiobook is a must-listen for Murakami fans and anyone who appreciates a good dose of the strange and the fantastical.
