About This Audiobook

In 'Broken Things', G.S. Wright paints a stark, unsettling portrait of a world where immortality has led to the extinction of children. The narrative is a gripping exploration of societal consequences, driven by a tense, suspenseful pace that keeps you on the edge of your seat. Virtual Voice's narration is a standout feature, delivering a chilling, detached tone that perfectly captures the dystopian atmosphere. Editor's Review

AudioBook Atlas

I was immediately drawn into 'Broken Things' by its unique premise and Wright's masterful world-building. The story is a slow burn that gradually reveals the horrifying implications of a world without children, making it all the more impactful. Virtual Voice's narration is exceptional, their cool, collected tone effectively conveying the story's eerie, desolate atmosphere. The pacing is excellent, building tension until it reaches a satisfying, if unsettling, climax. My only critique is that some characters could have been more fully developed, but this is a minor quibble in an otherwise outstanding audiobook.
