Editor's Review ★★★★☆

AudioBook Atlas

As someone who's listened to my fair share of teen audiobooks, I must say that Call the Shots by Don Calame, narrated by Nick Podehl, stands out in the genre. Podehl's voice is a delight, with each character distinctly portrayed and his timing impeccable for the comedic moments. The story, while filled with familiar high school tropes, manages to keep things fresh and entertaining. However, I did find the pacing to be a bit uneven at times, with some chapters feeling rushed while others lingered too long on unnecessary details. Overall, though, Call the Shots is a fun and engaging listen for anyone looking for a light-hearted, coming-of-age story.
