Candy Crone

I was swept up in the world of Candy Crone from the very start, and I have a hard time thinking of a more perfectly narrated audiobook. Alexa Elmy's voice is a gentle breeze on a winter's day, carrying the listener effortlessly through the twists and turns of Hawke's narrative. One of the things that really stood out to me was the way the story explores the idea that even in the midst of chaos, there is always room for a little bit of magic. It's a message that feels especially relevant during the holiday season. If I have any criticisms, it's that the pacing can feel a bit uneven at times. There are moments where the story feels a bit too slow, and others where it feels like we're hurtling towards a conclusion at breakneck speed. However, these are minor quibbles in an otherwise enchanting listen. Overall, Candy Crone is a holiday treat that I highly recommend to anyone looking for a story that's a little bit different.
