AudioBook Atlas

As someone with a keen interest in royal history, I was thrilled to discover this audiobook about the lesser-known Catherine de Valois. Narrator Maxime Gagnon Laramée does an excellent job of bringing Catherine's story to life, with a voice that captures the French and British accents of the time period. However, I found the pacing to be a bit uneven at times, with some sections feeling rushed while others dragged on. Additionally, I wish more context had been provided for some of the historical events mentioned, as it would have helped me better understand the significance of Catherine's actions. Despite these critiques, I thoroughly enjoyed learning about this fascinating woman and her role in shaping English history.
