Coast Road

Laura Hicks delivers a stellar performance in 'Coast Road,' her voice perfectly capturing the emotional depth of each character. The narration is so convincing that you feel like part of Jack McGill's coastal family by the end. The pacing is just right, with enough suspense to keep you engaged without overwhelming. However, some scenes could benefit from a bit more clarity, particularly in distinguishing between Jack and his sister’s perspectives. Nonetheless, Delinsky's writing remains a highlight, painting vivid pictures of the California coast that will transport listeners far beyond their commute.
