I was immediately drawn into Crowntide's richly imagined multiverse, where the stakes are high and the tension palpable. Laura Carrero del Tío's portrayal of our heroine, Elara, is nothing short of exceptional, capturing her strength, vulnerability, and growth throughout the story. The dynamic between Elara and her love interest, Caden, is beautifully conveyed by Íñigo Montero and Diego Rousselon, who bring a perfect balance of intensity and tenderness to their roles. While the pacing can feel a tad slow at times, the intricate plot and vivid world-building more than make up for it. My only critique would be that some of the secondary characters' accents could be more distinct to help listeners keep track of the large cast. Overall, Crowntide is a standout audiobook that masterfully blends fantasy, romance, and adventure, delivering a truly immersive listening experience.
