Lightlark

As an editor, I was immediately drawn into the world of Lightlark, where the lines between good and evil are blurred and the stakes are high. Suzy Jackson's narration perfectly complements the story, bringing the characters to life with a level of depth and nuance that's rare in YA fiction. One of the strengths of this audiobook is its ability to balance atmosphere and tension, creating a listening experience that's both immersive and thrilling. That being said, there are moments where the pacing feels slightly uneven, particularly in the later stages of the book. Some scenes feel a bit rushed, which can make it difficult to fully invest in the plot. Additionally, some of the supporting characters feel a bit one-dimensional, which can make it hard to fully connect with them. Still, these are minor quibbles in an otherwise engaging and suspenseful narrative. Overall, I would highly recommend Lightlark to fans of YA fantasy and mystery, particularly those who enjoy a good game-changer plot.
