About This Audiobook

In 'Curse of the Walking Man', Steve Gilmore serves up a hearty helping of urban fantasy with a side of snark. This isn't your typical angel-and-demon dance; it's a wild ride through a world where deities are as fallible as the rest of us, and death isn't the end, but sometimes, it's worse. Jeremy Arthur's narration is a standout, bringing a dry wit and impeccable timing that makes even the most gruesome scenes land with a laugh. This isn't just a story, it's a show, and Arthur is the perfect ringmaster.

Editor's Review

AudioBook Atlas

I've listened to my fair share of urban fantasies, but 'Curse of the Walking Man' is a breath of fresh air - or rather, a gust of undead wind. Gilmore's world-building is impressive, weaving together mythologies and pop culture with a deft hand. The pacing is relentless, keeping you on the edge of your seat, or rather, the edge of your earbuds. Arthur's narration is a delight, his ability to switch between accents and tones is nothing short of impressive. However, some of the humor can feel a bit forced at times, and a few plot points stretch believability even in this fantastical realm. But hey, it's a small price to pay for a story that's this much fun. I'm already eager for the next installment.
