As someone who enjoys a good mystery and a touch of romance, I was intrigued when I stumbled upon Dark Symphony. From the very beginning, Kevin Free's captivating narration drew me into the world of Byron the Carpathian, and I found myself unable to turn away. His deep, rich voice perfectly captured the enigmatic allure of the centuries-old vampire, making it easy to become invested in his search for a lifemate. The story's pacing is well-crafted, with just the right amount of action, suspense, and romance to keep me hooked. That being said, I did find the romance to be a bit predictable at times, and I wished for a few more surprises. Despite this minor critique, Dark Symphony is a unique and engaging audiobook that I would highly recommend to fans of the genre.
