Death's Door: The Immortal Descendants Story

Casaundra Freeman's narration is the star of the show here, her deep, resonant voice lending a haunting quality to the story that's perfect for late-night listening. She masterfully differentiates characters, from the gruff, world-weary Ren to the enigmatic, otherworldly Clockers. The pacing is excellent, with White's tight plotting keeping listeners on the edge of their seats. However, some of the exposition can feel a bit info-dumpy at times, breaking the otherwise smooth flow of the narrative. Despite this minor flaw, 'Death's Door' is a standout listen that will appeal to fans of dark, atmospheric science fiction.
