I was immediately hooked by Demon Seer's intriguing premise and its unique take on the supernatural. Robert Bradvica's narration of Michael's internal struggle is spot-on, capturing the teenage boy's confusion and longing with a raw authenticity that's refreshing. Alyssa Poon's portrayal of Seraphina is equally captivating, her voice perfectly conveying the demon's otherworldly allure and hinting at the darkness within. The pacing is excellent, with the tension building steadily towards a satisfying, if somewhat cliffhanger-ish, conclusion. My only critique is that the world-building could have been a bit more fleshed out, as I found myself wishing for more details about Seraphina's demonic origins and the rules governing her existence. Despite this, Demon Seer is a standout listen that's sure to appeal to fans of dark romance and supernatural thrillers.
