Omega Squad

I was hooked from the get-go with Omega Squad. The narrative starts with a bang, quite literally, and never lets up. Jacob's struggle to understand and control his newfound powers is relatable and engaging, while the mystery surrounding the metahuman program keeps you on the edge of your seat. The narration is top-notch, with each narrator bringing a unique energy to their character. Will M. Watt's portrayal of Jacob is particularly standout, capturing his confusion, anger, and determination in equal measure. The pacing is excellent, with the story moving at a breakneck speed that keeps you engaged until the very end. My only critique is that some of the world-building could have been more fleshed out, but it's a minor quibble in an otherwise excellent audiobook.
