I was thoroughly enthralled by Johannes Langer's narration of Die außergewöhnlichen Abenteuer von Arsène Lupin. His smooth, velvety voice brought the character to life, and I found myself becoming increasingly invested in the story as it unfolded. The pacing was well-balanced, with a good mix of action, suspense, and quieter moments of reflection. One of the standout elements of this audiobook was its ability to evoke a sense of time and place, transporting me to the elegant salons and hidden alleyways of early 20th-century Europe. If I have any criticisms, it's that some of the supporting characters felt a bit one-dimensional at times, and the story relied slightly too heavily on convenient coincidences. Nevertheless, these minor quibbles didn't detract from my overall enjoyment of the book, and I would highly recommend it to fans of classic mystery and detective fiction.
