Editor's Review ★★★★

AudioBook Atlas

Graham Mack's narration is a standout feature of Dverger. He masterfully differentiates characters, from the gruff, battle-hardened Gareth to the enigmatic traveler who brings news of the ancient horror. Mack's pacing is spot-on, capturing the tension of battle scenes and the quieter moments of reflection and planning. The story itself is a rollercoaster ride, with twists and turns that kept me on the edge of my seat. However, I found some of the world-building info-dumps a bit heavy-handed at times, and I wish there was more exploration of the political intrigue hinted at in the first book. Overall, though, Dverger is a gripping listen that will appeal to fans of epic fantasy and action-packed adventures.
