Kirby Heyborne's performance is nothing short of exceptional. He masterfully switches between accents and tones to distinguish characters, making it easy to follow the intricate plot. The pacing is spot-on, building tension and releasing it just when you need a breather. Dayton's world-building is impressive, with a rich history and unique lore that's seamlessly integrated into the story. However, the sheer amount of information can sometimes feel overwhelming, and I found myself wishing for a glossary or appendix to keep track of all the terms and factions. Despite this, Etherwalker is a standout audiobook that's perfect for fans of complex, gritty sci-fi and fantasy. It's like Neuromancer meets Game of Thrones, and I loved every minute of it.
