Roden’s narration is a masterclass in balancing exposition with dread; his delivery of the crew’s internal debates—especially the moments of creeping paranoia—are so visceral I found myself leaning in, straining to hear every whispered realization. That said, the story’s brevity is both a strength and a frustration. A few extra scenes of worldbuilding or character backstory could’ve deepened the emotional stakes, but the trade-off is a relentless, almost claustrophobic focus that’s rare in the genre. The audio production is top-tier, with subtle sound design that cues shifts in tone without overpowering the narrative. My only real gripe?
