I was immediately drawn into 'Frigid Magic' by the dynamic duo of Jessica Threet and Chris Boucher. Threet's portrayal of Ard is spot-on, capturing his wit and charm, while Boucher's supporting characters are equally engaging. The story itself is a wonderful mix of action, humor, and heart, with Sentar's world-building painting a vivid picture of a frozen landscape teeming with magic. The pacing is excellent, balancing moments of tension and excitement with quieter, character-driven scenes. My only critique is that some of the magical explanations could be a bit more streamlined, but overall, 'Frigid Magic' is a fantastic listen that left me eager for more.
