AudioBook Atlas

As someone who's listened to my fair share of thrillers, I can honestly say that 'From Beyond' had me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. Ray Porter's narration is a significant part of this. He has a way of making each character distinct, which is no easy feat in an audiobook. The pacing is perfect, balancing moments of intense action with quieter, more reflective scenes. The story is also refreshingly original, offering a unique take on the first contact trope. If I have any critiques, it's that some of the scientific explanations can get a bit dense, and a few of the political subplots feel a bit underdeveloped. However, these are minor quibbles in an otherwise excellent listen. If you're a fan of thrillers that make you think, 'From Beyond' is a must-listen.
