As an avid listener of mystery and crime thrillers, I couldn't wait to dive into Girl Gone Mad. Cassandra Campbell's narration is outstanding, and she manages to infuse each character with a unique personality and tone. Her ability to convey the emotional turmoil of the protagonist, Emily Bennett, is particularly impressive. I found myself completely immersed in the story, eager to discover the truth behind Emily's past and the mysterious Harpies. The pacing of the audiobook is masterfully executed, keeping me on the edge of my seat until the very end. However, I did feel that some of the subplots could have been further developed to provide a more comprehensive understanding of the characters' motivations.
