The full cast deserves applause too—Ricardo Bautista’s gravelly pirate captain is a standout, while Erika Ugalde’s AI voice is unsettling in the best way. My only critique? The 4-hour runtime feels a tad tight for the scope of the conflict, and a few side characters get lost in the mix. Still, the pacing never drags, and the emotional payoff in the final act is worth every minute. If you love sci-fi that’s smart, fast-paced, and genuinely funny without being smug, this audiobook is a must-listen.
