I was drawn into Gryphon's Eyrie from the very first chapter, thanks in no small part to the exceptional narration by John Lee and Adjoa Andoh. Lee's voice is perfect for the gritty, stoic Kerovan, while Andoh brings a warmth and vibrancy to the supporting characters that makes them truly shine. The story itself is a slow burn, with Norton taking her time to build her world and its lore, which can feel a bit slow at times, but the rich detail and intricate plot more than make up for it. The production is top-notch, with sound effects and music used sparingly but effectively to enhance the listening experience. My only critique is that the pacing could be a tad faster in places, but that's a minor quibble in an otherwise outstanding audiobook.
