As I listened to Hard Love, I found myself grinning through the snappy dialogue and charmingly imperfect protagonist. Ney's exploration of the blurred lines between public image and private life is both thought-provoking and engaging. The pacing is well-balanced, effortlessly shifting between lighthearted moments and more poignant, emotional scenes. I was impressed by the way the narrators handled the supporting cast, infusing even the most minor characters with depth and personality. If I have any criticism, it's that the supporting female characters sometimes felt a bit one-dimensional, requiring a bit too much suspension of disbelief. Nevertheless, this is a minor quibble in an otherwise exceptional audiobook. Overall, I highly recommend Hard Love for anyone seeking a lighthearted, feel-good romance with plenty of humor and wit.
