Hide and Seek

As someone who appreciates well-crafted science fiction and the intricacies of family dynamics, Hide and Seek hit all the right notes for me. Laurie Catherine Winkel's narration was top-notch; her ability to convey a wide range of emotions, from fierce protectiveness to genuine tenderness, made me feel like I was right there with Meghan and her kids. Ampersand's storytelling was gripping, keeping me on the edge of my seat during intense action sequences while still making me care deeply about the characters' relationships. The pacing was spot-on, maintaining a perfect balance between world-building and plot advancement. My only critique would be that, at times, the explanation of the complex cybernetic and technological aspects of the story felt a tad rushed. Still, this is a minor quibble in an otherwise exceptional listen.
