Imaginary Strangers

I devoured Imaginary Strangers in a single, mesmerizing listen. Renata Friedman's narration is superb, conveying the protagonist's growing unease through subtle inflections and tone. The story's pacing is relentless, with Kent expertly ratcheting up the tension as the protagonist's world begins to unravel. One minor quibble: some of the supporting characters feel a tad underdeveloped, and a few plot threads feel slightly convenient. Still, these are minor complaints in an otherwise taut, unsettling thriller. The production quality is top-notch, with crisp sound and seamless editing that lets the story take center stage. Overall, I highly recommend Imaginary Strangers to fans of psychological thrillers with a dark, twisty bent.
