Listening to Into the Stars is like being strapped into a space shuttle hurtling towards the stars. Jonathan Davis's narration is the perfect co-pilot, steering us through the story's twists and turns with a steady, engaging pace. His ability to differentiate characters with distinct voices and accents is impressive, making each character feel unique and fully realized. The story itself is a thrilling blend of action, intrigue, and exploration, with a dash of romance to keep things interesting. Rosone's prose is lean and muscular, reminiscent of a classic space opera, but with a modern, grounded sensibility. If I have any critiques, it's that the pacing can feel a bit uneven at times, with some sections moving at a breakneck speed while others linger a bit too long. But these are minor quibbles in an otherwise outstanding audiobook experience.
