I was thoroughly enchanted by 'L'étonnant voyage du garçon qui parlait aux girafes'. Christophe Brault's narration is warm and engaging, and he brings a sense of intimacy to Nickel's story. The pacing is well-balanced, with moments of quiet reflection giving way to thrilling tales of adventure. One of the things that struck me most was the way Rutledge weaves together Nickel's experiences to create a rich tapestry of American history and culture. My only minor quibble is that some of the transitions between scenes felt a bit abrupt, and I think a bit more production polish would have smoothed out these moments.
