As a fan of Gothic literature, I was thrilled to find this collection of Mary Shelley's short stories. Juan Manuel Martínez's narration is nothing short of exceptional. His deep, resonant voice and excellent pacing create an atmosphere of suspense and dread that's perfect for these eerie tales. The stories themselves are a mix of supernatural horror and social commentary, showcasing Shelley's range as a writer. My only critique is that some of the stories could have used a bit more breathing room, as they felt a bit rushed at times. But overall, this is a fantastic audiobook that's perfect for listeners who enjoy a good scare and some thought-provoking literature.
