Lock & West

As someone who loves a good coming-of-age story, I couldn't put Lock & West down. Joel Leslie's narration perfectly captures the essence of the characters, especially Lock's social awkwardness and growth throughout the audiobook. His portrayal of the supporting characters, like West, adds depth and warmth to the story. I appreciated the pacing of the audiobook, which kept me engaged without feeling rushed. While I found the occasional use of counting and reminders of 'normal' behavior a bit jarring at first, it ultimately made Lock's character more authentic and relatable. Overall, Lock & West is a delightful and engaging audiobook that I would highly recommend to fans of contemporary YA fiction and those who enjoy heartfelt stories of friendship and self-discovery.
